Giles has been the lead portfolio manager for the JSS Sustainable Equity – Global Thematic strategy since 2016. Additionally as part of the Sarasin & Partners global thematic investment team, he has portfolio management responsibilities across the global thematic fund range. Giles is also a research analyst, with a specific focus on the ‘evolving consumption’ theme. Giles has over 14 years’ of global, ESG and sustainable investment expertise. Previously, Giles was the lead fund manger of climate change and thematic/sector funds at Schroders, as well as holding responsibilities as an analyst within the global sector specialist team. Giles has also been a portfolio manager at F&C asset management (BMO) as a global fund manager for their flagship ESG and thematic product. Giles is a CFA charterholder, and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Birmingham.
